REGISTERED CLUBS ACT

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR CLUB MEMBERS.

This Club is by law required to keep a register containing information that relates to the management and financial administration of the club including:

     1. A list of disclosures, declarations and returns made by the governing body and employees of the club.

     2. The salary bands of the club's Top Executives.

     3. Details of the overseas travel made by the governing body and employees of the club.

     4. Details of loans given by the club to employees.

     5. Details of certain contracts executed by the club.

     6. Salary details of clubs employees who are close relatives of the club's governing body or employee of the club.

     7. Details of the payments made by the club for consultant services.

     8. Details of legal fees paid by the club for a member of the governing body or an employee of the club.

     9. Details of legal fees paid by the club for a member of the governing body or an employee of the club.

     10. The club's annual gaming machine profit.

     11. The amount applied by the club to community development and support.

AND

The club must prepare quarterly financial statements for the governing body that incorporate:

     1. The club's profit and loss accounts and trading accounts for the quarter, and

     2. A balance sheet as at the end of the quarter.

Members may view the register or the financial statements by written request to the club.

WALLSEND DIGGERS PRIVACY POLICY

Wallsend Diggers is subject to the provisions of the Privacy Act 1988 in particular the Amendments to the act in 2000 known as the Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000 effective 21st December 2001. The Club has a commitment to privacy and the safeguarding of member, visitor and staff personal information.

Any personal information provided by you to the Club (e.g. name, address, date of birth and contact details) including information collected as a result of a membership card being placed in a gaming machine or other club machine that is linked to a member loyalty system (not ATM's) that may provide a benefit or service to you, will be protected.

The Club does not usually disclose your personal information to any other organization or person unless there is a legal requirement to do so. The Club may also disclose personal information to relevant authorities if it reasonably believes that there is a threat to an individual's life, health or safety or public health or safety. If the Club has reason to suspect that an unlawful activity has been, or is being or may be engaged in, personal information may be used or disclosed as a necessary part of any investigation and reporting to relevant persons or authorities.

The Club may disclose your information to third parties that provide services under contract to the Club. These contracts require the third party to keep your personal information confidential and secure.

Your personal information, including information about you obtained as a result of you placing your membership card in a gaming or other club machine (not ATM's) may be used by the Club for marketing purposes to improve our services and to provide you with the latest information about these services, any new related services and promotions.

If you do not wish to receive information about services and promotions, the Club, on request will remove your name from mailing lists.

You have a right to access any personal information that the Club may hold about you, including a right of correction of your information. The Club will not generally charge a fee for you to access your personal information.

WALLSEND DIGGERS MEMBERS DISCIPLINARY POLICY Updated May 2015

Wallsend Diggers has a legal obligation to comply with state and federal liquor licensing legislation by:
     1. Providing responsible service of alcohol;
     2. Preventing persons under the age of 18 years from consuming alcohol
     3. Ensure the physical safety and wellbeing of persons
     4. Provide a safe environment within the venue for all persons
     5. Assist to prevent public nuisance, crime and disorder.

Wallsend Diggers reserve the right under Section 77(13) Liquor Act, 2007, to refuse entry to and bar members from the premises under the guidelines set out in Appendix A. Where there has been conduct that breaches established protocols committed, it would be legally negligent to allow problem persons into our Licensed Premises.

The information obtained from Members Identification will be used:
     1. To keep a record of incidents that occur on the Licensed Premises of Wallsend Diggers;
     2. To assist Police or other local authorities where a request for information is submitted;
     3. To assist us to fulfil our legal obligations under the Liquor Act (2007);

Police have the right to access details of each ban and may issue Infringement Notices.
There may be other breaches of the protocols not listed in Appendix A that could attract a Ban.

The Bans listed in Appendix A are an indication of the minimum length of the Ban for particular breaches. Wallsend Diggers Board of Directors has the right to change, combine or remove the Ban period at any time.
